What should I do next week??

Hello wonderful patrons!

I just released part 2 to the GTS Whisper Challenge!!  Check it out!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmzNO0B4jj8

I also wanted to show you guys a photo of a desk I found and my old makeup station my dad built me when I was a kid, because this is the start of MY NEW STUDIO!!  My old bedroom is turning into a dedicated space for both music and video production, which I have never had before, and I could not be more excited.  This will make me so much more productive to not have to carry equipment up and down flights of stairs xD.

And finally, what should I do next week??  I want to do some more music, but nothing is really leaping out at me right now.  Thoughts friends? :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

What should I do next week??

Comments

Have you ever done wake me up by avicii?

Caleb Craig

I will! And welcome to the Patreon fam!!

Malinda Kathleen Reese

Some of the funnest GT songs to listen to so far are the ones that already had some flair before translation (I think 'you're welcome' is my favourite so far.) Now, there's one song that may do really well for already being interesting and expressive beforehand, and that's 'In the Garden of Allah' by Don Henley. Give it a listen; you may not be able to resist.

Joshua Turcotte

A Carrie Underwood or Tim McGraw song ... there haven’t been much country singers on your channel

Oooh something like your Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings medley but with Harry Potter and Downtown Abbey ;)

April Duclos

Do GTS-Fireflies by owl city or Viva la Vida by Coldplay

William Rentz

Alice in Wonderland Twinkle, twinkle little bat how I wonder where you're at. Up above the world so high, like a tea tray in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle, little bat how I wonder where you're at.

So happy for you! :) Hmm here are my GTS suggestions - how about anything Imagine Dragons or Panic! At The Disco, a Moulin Rouge medley, Changes by David Bowie and Almost There from the disney movie The Princess and The Frog? x

Nerissa Taverner

Since it was sung during the Royal Wedding today, how about doing a GTS of "Stand By Me"? (I don't think you've already done it, but I could be wrong...)

Nocturnal Druid

As a bit of an opera fan myself, I'd love to see that. Laughing just thinking about it.

Oliver Hickling

Can you do Killer Queen by Queen please? I know I've been asking this for a while but your Bohemian Rhapsody was incredibly weird, and I'd like to see if this one is just as weird.

Oliver Hickling

This Tuesday is the anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack so I personally think it would be nice to do a cover (GTS or normal) of One Last Time by Ariana Grande. Or "Don't Look Back in Anger".

Rosanna system

Just throwing this suggestion out there, have you considered a cover of 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri? It would blend nicely with several of the covers you have already done. I know it's a little cliche and many people have covered it before (Boyce Avenue, Lindsey Stirling and Aimee Proal, Michael O'Dwyer to name a few) but it could work. Some more Liz Callaway covers would be interesting too, there's so many of those to choose from including songs in some underrated animated movies such as The Swan Princess trilogy (we'll pretend the other SP movies don't exist...).

You could translate opera from it's original language to English via Google Translate? It's often full of idioms and metaphors that don't quite work in other languages to start with.

Christopher Perman

What about a sleep lullaby or the national anthem

Didadoortje

Well, if you want something timely, there's Ashes by Celine Dion.

Jonathan

I would love a good old Roxette song - translated of course!!

Diane Elaine McGowan

I would love to see a GTS of "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!"

Gavin Walker

How about a Joss Whedon Song, like Walk Through the Fire?

Paul Johnson

Elephant Love Song Medley

With Memorial Day coming up, a Google Translate Sings patriotic medley might be fun - "America The Beautiful", "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and/or "Star-Spangled Banner".

K. D. Bryan

One thing I would LOVE to see you do someday soon—though possibly not next week, b/c it would probably take more time than that to prepare—is a GTS version of Friend Like Me from Aladdin. I know that with your comedy/acting skills, it would be fantastic.

Kyle Robert Shultz

She did that one in the beauty & the beast mash up video she did in 2016

AgVoss

A Demi lavato mashup video

AgVoss

Congrats on your new studio! Perhaps take a go at "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast?

Talon1017

how about Google Translate Sings: Jim Henson Theme Songs and since there all minute or less, you can do them in full. You could start with The Muppet Show Theme and the line "It's the Muppet Show with our Very Special Guest Star, Google Translate". The next theme would have to be "Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street?", it a classic. And last, Down at Fraggle Rock, it would be a sin to leave Fraggle Rock out of the party.

Western Canadian Guy

OH YOU SHOULD DO A GOOGLE TRANSLATE OF "THE SOUND OF MUSIC" OST COMPILATION

NorthMelon

What if ABBA used Google Translate, when translating the swedish lyrics into English?

Stefan "MaskinJunior" Ivarsson

Get almost Moana Bingo and consider "Shiny"

Julian Beniers

Have you thought about doing a cover of a Coldplay song? I am particularly thinking of Fix You or The Scientist. As for translates, how about Beatles medley part 2, or Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake...or have you thought about doing a Translate of a country song? There are several that I think would be hilarious translated. Or someone suggested on one of your old videos doing something by Duran Duran. I ran Hungry Like the Wolf thru Google Translate and it was pretty funny.

Elaine Williams

I’d also like to see what what google thinks Rapunzels doing in When will my life begin... Or you could do something by Gilbert and Sullivan

PrincessJoySparkles

Have you thought about doing the Ghostbusters theme?

Ryan Graff

I don't know what you should do next week, but I think that for the 5 year anniversary of your google translate Let It Go video, you should do a GTS version of Disney's Let It Go in 25 languages.

The Worst Pies in London from Sweeney Todd. I think you'd make a great Mrs. Lovett.

Thomas Ahearn

GTS "Still Alive" from Portal could be fun.

Will Cole

Since you’ve already done GTS How Far I’ll Go and You’re Welcome, I’m hoping you’ll also do Shiny from Moana:)

Izzie

A Kpop song, like Scentist by Vixx!

Erinn McDaniel

I’d LOVE to see a Broadway google translate song!! (Specifically spongebob or mean girls, google translate would have fits with it I feel like)

Lukas Lawley

Please do "One Night" by Ed Sheran. I know you've done a couple of his other songs but that one is one of my favorites :)

When will my life begin from Tangled GTS

Mel Vega

David Bowie's "Space Oddity"

Tom Corrigan

So excited for you! Having your own studio will make it so much easier to do what you do. Are you thinking of doing another translate? I'd love to hear you translate "When Will My Life Begin?" from Tangled (I sang that at an event last weekend for some adorable kids; it was so fun!)––there are so many unusual activities in Rapunzel's daily routine (papier-mâché, ventriloquy, etc.), I feel like Google Translate could have a field day with it. I also just think you'd make a lovely Rapunzel. Or, in honor of the Frozen Broadway cast recording being released this past week, how about a cover of one of the new songs?

Amelia Smith

Wannabe

Bradley Huffer

Always wanted to hear a gts of old cartoon introes, like He-man, M.A.S.K., g.i.joe, transformers g1, gummy bears, etc etc, they are short Songs so you could make many in 1 video :3

Piano Man

Luis J. Maysonet

A-ha “Take On Me” popped into my head.

Luis J. Maysonet

Hmm... Music. Every wanted to do Oliver and Company? "Why Should I Worry" jumps out at me.

Eleutherios Chthonios

Call me, maybe?
