NEW VIDEO- An original called "For What It's Worth"

Hi friends!

I wrote this starting at the top of the pandemic and finished it in May with some perspective, and I felt the need to share it.  I hope it brings you the comfort and peace that it has brought me!

Also...Mia Asano?  What a talent.  Y'all will hopefully see a lot more from the two of us.

I've been through a lot in the last 2 weeks!  And I'll have a lot to update you all on in the next livestream.  But for right now I'm just kind of hermit-ing and writing for a while to get back to doing what I love :)

More to come soon!

A really beautiful song and also thoughtworthy lyrics. Thanks for sharing.

I loved this, so very well done, and so needed.

I really feel this too, thank you for creating and sharing it! 💛 I had the exact moment toward the beginning of the pandemic of turning to my mother (she actually is a historian though 😅) and looking for some sort of solace or answers about what is normal in this world, as if she has all the answers... turns out we're all a bit lost!

Thank you for sharing with us... your music continues to touch my heart & inspire my spirit. "For What It's Worth" speaks volumes to me and no doubt others who are struggling through this time. Thank you again for sharing! Keep making the music you make so well & sharing with your fans!

Thank you so much for this song, at this moment. It is perfect and perfectly beautiful. My mom died a year ago today, and the beginning of this touched me so deeply. Mia and her violin also completely right and satisfying both artistically and emotionally. So glad I get to be part of your Patreon family. Much love to you, Malinda.

As much as I love your performances of Celtic music on the EP, it's your original music that really gets me right in the heart, and this one definitely does that. The demo was good, but this version is really outstanding! P.S. the bit about the dark days and learning from the hard way is brilliant.
