Sitting with my family watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and reflecting on just how much you all have changed my life. The journey from being a little YouTuber first starting out to an artist that is finding her own voice is inherently a scary one at times! There’s always “what if this doesn’t work” and “is it too much of a risk to try new things?” With you all it’s felt like I had a wind at my back, a choir of voices saying “it really is ok to be you.” I can’t understate the importance of that for me. That’s what you all have given me.
I can’t wait to share so much more with you all. Team Malinda is in the process of growing (!!), lots of music writing, lots of music videos, and ideas for special projects on the horizon. This is such an unbelievably special time for me, and I just want to grab each of you by the hand, look you in the eye and say “thank you for sharing this with me.”
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you’re celebrating. Thank you all so deeply for everything.
