"When It's Not Now" NEW SONG

Hello my amazing patrons,

My mama and I wrote this song together starting at the beginning of the outbreak.  It's been so fun to have a project to work on together and to challenge each other even if we're separated.  And aren't they so cute and such beautiful singers???

I hope everyone is finding ways to connect to their families, whether born or chosen, in meaningful ways.  It's been a super important step in my processing of this pandemic.

This song is available for download to all +$5 patrons, as well as on Spotify and eventually on iTunes and elsewhere!  So be sure to share it with all of your friends and stream it a looooot.

Way more to come from me in the coming weeks.  Thank you all for being so incredibly supportive.  I feel such a strong sense of purpose as a musician and a creator right now thanks to you.

Beautiful, and I agree with everyone’s thought it’s the expressions we need these days, as both catharsis and healing. Mahalo nui loa, Malinda

Such a beautiful song, made me feel a lot calmer in these crazy times. Also gave me goose bumps which in my opinion says how pretty it sounded

What a beautiful song in such crazy times.

fixed xD

A lovely song and singers, and worthwhile things to think about. I do have to point out this post is titled "Now Now" instead of "Not Now", though. :-)

Gosh, this song is perfect for what we're going through right now. Thank you, and your parents, for putting this together. It's beautiful.

Such a cute song! Really loved your afterthoughts this time. I know I'll be happy to see movies in a theater again or walk into a place and take a big breath and get a haircut. Sigh....

Awesome song, you nailed it. I’m hoping we learn from this. I’ll be glad to go to our favorite nature spots when this is over.

Aw, that was sweet! As to your question about what things will be like when this is over, my biggest worry is that the people who benefited most from the way things were before will immediately force things back to that model instead of letting us learn anything from this. :-( OK, I think I have to go call my daughter now....

Thanks Malinda! Awesome song, and you’re parents are great singers! I don’t what I’ll be doing when it’s not now but for now I’m just thankful for my friends and for technology keeping us together. Stay safe! xx
