I’ve been in electric shock therapy (ECT) and outpatient group therapy (IOP) and in individual therapy. Everywhere I go, they keep talking about this massive medical study (Oxford University?). Neuro-elasticity (Overall Brain health), and depression are improved when people expose themselves to new music (songs), new modalities, and unfamiliar musical instruments. Unfamiliar musical instruments. I’ve reached out to Carolina Eyck (greatest thereminist in the world), and Luna Lee (Korean Guyagem). They’re totally up for some kind of collaboration. But you’re the best songwriter around. And incredibly good at organizing these kinds of collaborations. With you as the glue, this sort of thing could help a lot of people find peace and improved mental health. This video is proof of that. Did I mention it’s fantastic? I’ve yet to contact Patty Gurdy (master of the hurdy gurdy) or anyone else who plays weird musical instruments.
