A new demo xx

Hello friends,

This song is heavy, so protect yourself if you don't feel you can watch something like that, but I knew I had to release it as a demo right now.  I feel deeply across the globe that we are at a breaking point.  Our collective souls are tired.  This song is about how I took care of myself in my worst moment, and how I will do it again and again.  I am a success story- someone who battled the worst of what my brain had to offer and won.  I was inspired to do so by stories of others who had done the same.  I hope this video can help people in the way others' stories have helped me.

I'll send this as an audio file to my $5+ patrons if you want to listen to it more consistently.

Also we have How Dare You coming out next week, which should be a blast.  I'm struggling with the video for it, but I'm keeping it simple and will figure it out eventually.

You all are wonderful. I truly hope you are keeping yourself connected in whatever way you can to those you love.   Lots more to come from me shortly xx.

Beautiful song! Sending you a Virtual Hug! Thank you for being brave and sharing your story! I take my meds every day for depression. We so desperately need to destigmatize mental healthcare and remind the world that mental healthcare IS healthcare and as essential as taking care of the physical body. Thank you for your beautiful music and your beautiful self! Be safe, and be well!

Beautiful song. I went straight to the Puffin Song after this one, though. You know, for balance.

This song was great. Your voice is so beautiful

Thank you, Malinda. There may be cracks in the ground, but music seems to help sometimes with another way around them.

Steve

You have such a beautiful and comforting voice.

Dave

It’s such a beautiful, heartfelt, utterly unguarded song, and a reminder that you could be successful, loved, professionally fulfilled, have ‘everything’—and depression, anxiety, and other mental/emotional disorders can render all of those things meaningless.

Listening to you sing heals me, and I’m sure it heals others too. Every day we wake up and find good in the world or ourselves is a success story, and sometimes we just need to be reminded of that.

First of all, that's a beautiful song that brought a tear to my eye. Second, I hope that palm reader was wrong. After last Saturday you should know that you have tons of people who love you. We're happy every day that you're a success story on this topic as well as musically. V-hugs!

You have wonderful things to share. I've enjoyed a lot of the things you've put out there (hence why I'm here) Looking forward to HDY already :)
