We have a new GTS coming out shortly (WHAT YES I KNOW) so get ready for that!
Some thinggsss for the week.
-Livestream for $5+ patrons will occur at 2:30pm EST on Wednesday October 28th!! I'll sing some things, maybe even draw or paint with you all a little! I'm feeling generally creative and I just want to share that process with you and the joy I'm getting from it :D
-We are a little over 100 patrons away from being a family of 1000 strong. I'm hoping to reach that solidly by the end of the year (the number always varies, but I'd just like to hit the number and stay in the region). I will probably announce the existence of my album and the fact that all of you will have your name on it when it's done to encourage people to join, but I wanted to just ask you all first- tell your friends about this community :). If it brings you joy it might bring them joy, too! Especially because bringing people you know and love into the community will only multiply our already awesome energy. Even if they join at the $2 level for a bit there's so much there! And I want there to be even more in the future. So if you'd do me a favor and talk to someone who might be interested in joining the fam that would be great.
And if you're in the US talk to those people about voting too heyyyy :DDDD
-Patreon now has the option of doing yearly subscriptions, allowing people to pay for a full year right off the bat. Which I'm hesitant about? Because I don't want to make my income super inconsistent. I am making a poll on Discord so that people can tell me what they would do, but if you aren't on Discord, would that be something you'd switch to? Or are you happy with monthly? (Again it's all entirely up to the individual patron, I just want to get an idea of how people feel about it.)
I just spent a wonderful week in the mountains and now I'm in DC getting some work done. I'm excited to share my little creative escapades with you as I feel like I'm discovering a lot these days. More to comeeee!!

And this way, if we hit financial troubles (and especially now during crisis, it is sadly far too common) - we can simply pause our Patron accounts for some time while we find our footing again. So yea, Monthly for me too :)

2020-10-25 20:37:09 +0000 UTCWhile I lean towards monthly as well, I have to admit that both options are a good and valid: some people will watch Malinda's videos on YT and simply fall in love, and in a passionate decision, will choose to sponsor her with a lump sum. That is not for me, but definitely a valid option. BTW, have you folks noticed the - very welcome - detail in the picture: wearing the mask even outdoors. SUPER important message, which I fully support. Thanks, Malinda.

As you say, it means a more steady income for you. Unless it would help with bigger projects if you received it in a larger chunk. But you can always hold more special events/meet&greets for that.
