This has been the most overwhelming weekend of my life, and I need to take a second to process it. But I kept thinking to myself while watching the film- no label would have let me do this 🤣. It’s literally because I have Patreon that I am able to take creative risks and create work that I think is deeply important. So I hope that YOU ALL feel proud of this work that WE have created together. Genuinely this is not possible without you. We are moving the needle together.
And frankly the tour wouldn’t be possible without you either!!!! Artists in their early stages generally make no money (or actually most lose money) on their first tours at all. It’s worth it to grow the community and the in-person connection, which is so critical and soul-filling for everyone involved. But it does mean that the artist has to have a level of financial stability that is really hard to achieve. And Patreon is absolutely the net that catches me in these situations. We are impacting so many people together. What you put in to this community is radiating SO SO far. I got to see that last night in NY, and I look forward to witnessing it every night this fall.
You all are so amazing. I can’t wait to see you all and send you SO MANY DEMOS of what I’m working on in the meantime 😛. The fun don’t stop!!

So break a leg out there as you travel that country spreading your art! Also, if you do come to the UK sometime, please please please include Edinburgh or Glasgow. ❤
