My intention this week was to have a live watch party where I could give live commentary on the film, but I recognized that it wouldn't be a great experience for us due to the technical complications of achieving that on my own. It wouldn't be as smooth as I'd want it to be for you.
SO.
Here is the visual album. For you, all of my patrons. For the next 24 hrs. We will hop on a separate livestream at 1pm EDT (a little later than scheduled just to give people time to watch if need be) and we can chat about some behind the scenes stories and where we go from here. After that stream the film link will go private. The stream will remain up to watch.
I am excited to provide this opportunity for you all to watch the film one more time before it gets distributed elsewhere later this year. It feels like we're really closing the capture on this project and I'm excited to celebrate that with you.

There are so many things to say about it, but to avoid posting an essay: this is an absolutely incredible and beautiful piece of art, hitting so many chords in heartfelt and exquisite ways. I can imagine it must have been amazing to see in a cinema. You deserve to feel very proud of yourself and your team!

Dang it.), but wanted to share words!: the editing is superb throughout (even in the credits); the girl as she begins her journey when she enters her room opposed to how she seems to come into a new sense of understanding/self at the end slays me every time (in a good way); the shadow puppet scene was GENIUS and a definite favorite; the bridge of “Like It’s The End” and how the girl’s “soul” approaches Kyana is heart-wrenching and totally floored me on first watch— altered the narrative and I was in tears; the lighting colors matching the soul and the couple during rather beautifully shot bed scene was a perfect tie-in; the breakup scene kills meeeee (how did y’all do that take after take, my Gods, the energy that must’ve expended); the “integrated” scene where the girl dons the dress and becomes her full self had me crying. A lot; I could go on, but I’ve rambled enough. Heh. I honestly caught something new every single time I viewed it and I was basically in tears every watch— this production was a total masterpiece, bravo to all involved. Hope the stream goes well— be safe out there, sweet Lady.

Weirdly, I found I was watching it on YouTube, where out of 92 viewers and 16 likes, I was the first to comment (from a heart overflowing with emotions and gratitude for your artistry and honesty, and for the beauty of the music and the film). I thought from your posting here that you had just released the film, but YT says it's been up for two months. Where have we all been? I hope this new announcement will spur your millions of fans to actively promote the film! P.S. just one suggestion, to have subtitles available (I couldn't get a lot of the lyrics in the first song, and your every word should be heard).
