A letter from Malinda with 2024 Updates

Hello Lovely Patrons!

Happy New Year! I want to express my DEEPEST gratitude for your incredible support throughout the whirlwind that was 2023. The tour and visual album were monumental, and I couldn't have done it without the unwavering support of patrons like you. Your belief in my music is the reason it exists and is making other people’s lives a little brighter.  Thank you for being a part of that.

During a recent Patron livestream, I shared some thoughts about needed changes to our Patreon community. Your support has allowed me to dream big, and in the process of my growth some of the old Patreon rewards have become difficult to fulfill in a timely manner. To ensure that the Patreon experience is top notch for everyone, I've decided to make a few adjustments to my Patreon page.

I'm particularly excited about in 2024 about the chance to connect through $5+ live streams and the all-Patreon Discord. I love sharing my projects and progress, hearing your feedback, and feeling your support. Your presence at these streams makes it all the more special. I’ll be doing these sporadically, and I’ll make sure to post, or tag, or “at everyone” so you all know when they happen! As usual the video live streams will be available for rewatch afterward.

As an extension of this desire to build community, for those at the $20+ tier, the video message perk is evolving into a quarterly group Zoom call with me!  These will take the form of a little community game night/trivia, a talent show, possibly a guest creator workshop, activities that center YOU so that I can get to know you all better.  I'll announce dates well in advance, so we can all plan to be there.  Personal videos are now being moved up to the $50+ tier so that the quantity is more manageable for me.

As for remaining personal video messages from 2023, I'm in the process of finishing the last few. If you believe you are due a message and haven't been contacted, please check your Patreon messages and feel free to reach out with any questions!

Looking ahead, 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year!  Looking down the barrel of this year we have several singles that might evolve into an EP, a massive wonderful holiday album, another tour (!!!!), a new line of merch that might turn into a full on lifestyle brand, and the early stages of a multi-year, multivolume collaboration album that will feature over 20 different artists from Ireland and the US.  And much more :)

Once again, thank you for being an essential part of this journey. Your support and passion fuels my creativity, and I'm endlessly grateful for it. Here's to a fantastic 2024 filled with music, connection, and collective effervescence.
