Time for a second Dev Blog!
First of all, let me apologize for the lack of updates during the past weeks. I've encountered some technical problems with my software that somewhat slowed down my progress. However, I've been finalizing the new renders for the past week, and I'm happy to announce that more than half the renders are already completed!
I've also been collecting feedback since the game was released a month ago and trying to address the problems that have been commented on by players, the most common one being the difficulty of the combat and amount of grinding in the early game. I've gradually toned down the difficulty in the past two releases, but the next update will be even easier and feature even less grinding. It wasn't my intention to make the game grindy - it just kind of came out that way. That's why I'm always tweaking the game to make it more fun and less repetitive.
Some players have also commented that the city of Creyford feels somewhat empty at the moment, and I actually agree with that statement. The focus of the next update will be to introduce more character interactions and bringing more "liveliness" to the city, the spotlight being the street vendor lady(yep, that's the lady in the picture above), and of course, our green bodied protagonist will have the opportunity to get intimate with her...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
