Guide
The new Guide website for how to use XToys is up and available now at https://guide.xtoys.app. There's still some additional pages I want to write this week. In particular some guides for the more complex Tools, and some examples of how to make Teases.
Discord Thread Support
The Discord bot has been updated to work in threads, which leads to some nicer ways to use the bot like having the bot status in the parent channel and messages in a thread, or vice-versa.
Better Minimized Blocks
It's been bugging me for months how difficult it is to open a minimized block. So I'm adding an extra button to easily open the block, and also making drag and drop work so you can drag a minimized block upwards and it'll become the new primary block.
Custom Toy BLE Support
I've been doing a fair bit of work lately involving getting XToys talk to an ESP32 via bluetooth and trying to build some custom toys. I'm hoping to add support this week for defining custom bluetooth toys for people that are making their own toys.
I'll probably just allow for defining a single service/characteristic and send the same commands to that characteristic as how serial toys currently work. I may also add T-Code support as an alternative message format.
Better Tag Support
I want to make tags easier to use so that it's possible to actually categorize your patterns and scripts. I'm looking at displaying your tags as quick select buttons in pattern lists. I also want to make it so you can easily add or remove a tag from the pattern/script info dialog since right now tags can only be adjusting by going in and editing the pattern/script itself.
