2023-12-11 16:18:10 +0000 UTCSuch a great finale to a fantastic show, I honestly don't know where to begin but I'll try to talk about a few things I especially enjoyed. I love the scene around 13:17 when Aang, for the first time, has full control of the Avatar state (signified by his eyes and tattoos only glowing for a moment) having become a fully realized Avatar. I also love that now that his old clothes he wore as an air bending trainee have been completely destroyed his new outfit is modelled after the clothes of the head monks like Gyatso. But the thing I love most is that Avatar holds up. That I can go back to something I loved as a kid and still enjoy it, arguably even more than when I was a child. Also, I gotta say that the english dub has really grown on me. In the beginning I found it a bit strange how high Aang's voice is (His german voice sounds like a guy in the beginning stages of his voice breaking, I think at 12 yo both are realistic, though the voice not yet having started to break is probably more common at that age), but now I like it.
