This episode really highlights for me what's missing in Western super hero films and comics. Heroes actually working to save people, and the tragic results of what the villains do, not just the spectacle of heroes fighting villains. Like that scene with Uraraka saving those two kids, how many people didn't the heroes get to in time?

Imagine how it must feel watching someone who is what you aspire to be just give up. It would make the already bleak situation feel hopeless. It's easy to overlook this episode with most of the first half being recap, but the rest of it hits hard.
