Another update
Added 2023-12-16 19:23:44 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I've been super busy these past couple months working on content. I'm trying not to share too much... but here's an image of a new location! There still isn't any news when SDV 1.6 is releasing. SVE 1.15 is kind of in limbo because it won't work without the modder tools and frameworks coming with the official update + SMAPI. It's sort of a waiting game right now for me, but I'm still working on content every single day.
There's also something I do need to talk about regarding a self-imposed deadline I gave myself last year that I unfortunately can't meet. I told players Castle Village would be ready by the end of next year. Well... it's "the next year" now and it's not here. I couldn't foresee how long the SMAPI alpha would last or how long it'd be until SDV 1.6 dropped. For 2.0 to exist 1.15 needs to be released. And for 1.15 to be released SDV 1.6 has to be released. There's forces here that are completely out of my control. And for that I'm really sorry everyone. I just feel like I needed to be fully transparent about this and I hope you all understand.

good things come to those who wait! also it's always better to take time on things rather than trying to rush them, regardless of whether or not they're out of your control. plus it gives you more time to focus on yourself! don't stress, take it easy, breathe.

2023-12-17 15:44:42 +0000 UTCAt the beginning of the month, Concerned Ape tweeted about being in self-imposed "extreme crunch mode" so I'm hopeful that we *might* get SDV 1.6 for Christmas! Thanks for letting us know your timelines because that makes sense and it's good to know! And thanks for SVE! One thing you might want to do, is add a line of dialogue or something to tell the player that they can't get to Castle Village yet. Because I like to play Stardew without spoilers, I spent a very long time trying to figure out how to get there before I finally checked the internet and found out it's not available yet.
