But which RPGs?
Added 2022-06-28 15:46:34 +0000 UTCGreetings world builders!
Welcome to Sci-Fi!
There are so many exciting areas of the Science Fiction world....s to explore, I can't wait to see what we come up with through this journey!
On that topic, WHAT worlds would you like to explore? What TTRPG Sci-Fi games do you play?
I have a bunch of areas I have in mind that I'd like to cover, but I'd like to get a gauge of what you're all playing and what you'd find most useful!
So...
Which games would you like maps for?
- If you don't see your game here, please add it to the comments
- If you have a specific area in mind for your game (eg - city streets, building interiors, alien planets) please add it to the comments
Happy gaming!

2022-07-12 08:36:04 +0000 UTCI DM a Homebrew Savage Worlds Sci fi campaign ... in general i would suggest maps/assets that can be used for multiple sci fi variants .... indoor is probably one of the best solutions for that

2022-07-07 20:09:45 +0000 UTCI DM a Star Wars 5e (SW5e) campaign on Foundry VTT. That's kind of Edge of the Empire I'm sure!

2022-07-01 14:26:51 +0000 UTCThat's a great insight, Chris, thank you for that! I'm definitely here for a mix, and agree that the true sci-fi genre is under serviced. Feel free to suggest maps that you'd like to see in the map suggestions channel of our Discord server, then I can work them into the release schedule :)

2022-07-01 08:52:09 +0000 UTCStarfinder, Coriolis, or Stars Without Number. Honestly, anything that's actually sci-fi. I really feel like there are enough patreons that focus on Cyberpunk these days, but surprisingly few that do sci-fi/sci-fantasy.

2022-06-30 20:36:04 +0000 UTCHard agree. Post-apocalypse is quite easily terrifying. You can see one of the post-apocalypse variants on the next map pack :) (You could also treat the abandoned / destroyed variants as post-apocalyptic quite easily. For example the Med Bay, and The Dome, have great underground post-apocalypse vibes)

2022-06-29 08:37:08 +0000 UTCLove the post-apocalyptic idea, by the way! No matter how powerful a PC is, there is something deeply unsettling about that sort of environment. The 'golden era' tech is virtually magic compared to the current tech level. Makes for great McMuffin to go quest for. I am already using your maps for the standard settings, so it is a nice-to-have.

2022-06-28 18:42:24 +0000 UTCThat sounds really great, Sean! I love the sound of that. I do plan on having post-apocalyptic variants of each map we release (where relevant), so that looks like it'll work out nicely. Is that 'golden era' future tech as well, or more cyber, current times?

2022-06-28 16:53:24 +0000 UTCStars Without Number is the rule system we run ay my table. That system is based around the reemergence of a space-going society after a massive collapse. I am looking for maps of decrepit, abandonned ruins from that pre-collapse "golden era". Either that or unfurnished maps and some assets of ruined technology. Ship deck plans are also gold, but they are usually pretty industrial, not clean and shiny.
