As you can see, I tend to work really sloppily and do multiple passes on a drawing. It’s a sort of perfectionism I’m trying to cure myself from, but some days it feels the most necessary to me in order to get the best outcome on an idea.
I have to say, I really enjoy the ease and simplicity of drawing on the iPad in Procreate. Not to mention the lack of dread and woe that comes from feeling chained to the desktop setup, one that I usually have to work on every day. This feels more like play. I get to sit in my bed and get comfortable, have a movie playing in the corner, references off to the side... it feels really zen and relaxing.
