First look at "Alex the Barbarian"
Added 2024-06-23 13:24:13 +0000 UTCAs promised, I have been working on the first short story from the Mind Society. The idea is to take scenes we planned for the Mind Society and turn them into short visual novels.
This particular story features Alex retelling a dream she had to the MC, assuming the player chose the "control" path with Alex. Maybe someday we'll get to stitch it back into the main game, but regardless, it works quite well as a stand-alone piece.
I am reining in my usual instinct to add extra content and keeping it simple. It will be a linear visual novel with about 100 renders. Right now, it's about a quarter done and progressing at a decent pace.
In other good news, my day job should be less demanding during the summer, so I am hoping to have more time to dedicate to my projects here.
