How Immediate Patron Cancellation Affects Your Membership Status

We wanted to take a moment to clarify an important aspect of Patreon’s system that affects both you as a patron and us as a creator.
If you cancel your patronage immediately after subscribing to us, Patreon automatically marks your account as a non-member right away, even if you have already paid for the current billing cycle. This means:
- You may lose access to exclusive content, posts, and community discussions before the month is over.
- Your name will no longer appear in our membership list, making it difficult for us to verify benefits that require manual fulfillment (e.g., shoutouts, credits, exclusive messages, or rewards).
For us as a creator, this creates a challenge because Patreon displays you as a non-member for the remainder of the billing cycle. If we provide perks based on the active member list, we may mistakenly miss you, even though you've already paid for the month.
How to Avoid Issues:
If you plan to cancel but still want access for the full month you paid for, we recommend waiting until the end of your billing cycle before cancelling. This ensures you receive everything you’re entitled to without disruption.

I can only dish out so much money especially for a decent viewing or updates about the game, and most stuff on here is too expensive to pay monthly, and Idk where the money is even going or if we'll get the full game SWWSDJ. Besides I don't see my name being up there for paying 5 dollars a month.😐🤷♀️ I hope for the best and I look forward to playing the full release of SWWSDJ, but until the positive results show itself and I see it as worth it, I'm gonna cancel my subscription because 1) it's mostly to see the status of the progress and 2) my money has to go somewhere else that's important like car repairs, gas money, bills, food, etc.
