JasX Survey 2017 - Review Part 1

This year's survey is now closed. This year it got 333 responses, compared to last year's 415. But last year's survey was also active for twice as long.

This is it for today. Tomorrow I will continue with the section everyone's been waiting for. More specifically: The drama & fetish sections. Stay tuned for that!

I don't see a point in future "Fetish-Request"-Sektions in the surveys if you just go 'n refuse everything afterwards.. Even if you're not into something you could still implement some light versions of it and create a switch to enable/disable it per user.

For mobile games (tablet/phone/laptop) for installable is you can cache and preload more, saving bandwidth on the go. I much prefer my other games to download over wifi and then while I'm out it only uses the protocol of attacks/moves to the server, and not megabytes of assets eating up limited mobile plan. For pc games, I wonder if it has the same reason, some countries have very restricted bandwidth (but SL already is one of the highest usage, so that'd be counterintuitive to the target audiences network speeds and limits). Unless the game is super optimized for speed, usually downloaded will still beat out on speed and api usage for graphic card and processing power. Browser games are throttled down when tabbed away and while html5 kits can use gpu for graphic acceleration now, it's still not full access to do the optimal handling of lots of content.
