Game of Thongs Patreon Pre-release Patch notes

This is a public post I intend to keep updated as bug reports by the patrons are fixed. These updates are present on the current patron playtest HUD, and will be included in GoThongs 0.10.0

Quests

MQ01 - Imprisoned

• Reduced the power and quantity of certain monsters.
• Replaced a short section of the third cell with a goo section.
• The player detection radius of Skel's milk beam has been greatly increased.

MQ03 - Road to fort erect

• Flowers in the first cell should once again show up properly
• Fixed an issue with the boss visual

MQ04 - Thongsmithing

• Boss HP is now 1000, down from 1600
• Boss globs will now spawn on the ground

MQ06 - The missing courier

• Instead of simply getting a ladder for speaking to the courier, you will now have to play a ridiculous mini-game
• Replaced a section of cell 2 with a gnoll section.
• Octojackson: Amount of fires spawned and radius of flames have been increased.
• Octojackson:  Eye lazer sparks have been removed for performance reasons.
• Octojackson:  Eye lazer damage has been doubled.
• Octojackson:  The arena floor has been made more level so the eye lazers won't hit the arena floor. You will now have to run around the boss to not get hit.
• Octojackson:  The telekinetic burger now moves slower towards the boss.

Class changes (these are public for ALL huds):

Windflame

• Magma Bolt: Restores 2 mana in addition to its current effect.
• Flame Lick: Mana cost increased to 30, up from 15. Now stacks once, down from twice. Increases damage by magma bolt by 100%, up from 50%. Deals 10 damage per tick, up from 5.
• Ascend: Cooldown reduced to 30. Down from 45.
• Air infusion: Duration is now 20 seconds, up from 15. Cooldown is now 60 sec, down from 90. Now affects all nearby friendly targets.

Earthmender

• A target can now only be affected by 1 earth shield.

Bard

• Class has been renamed "Swordsinger" and all abilities have been replaced.

Tentaclemancer

• New class. Can be unlocked by thongsmithing. Rare.
• A target can now only be affected by one infest.

Druid

• Fixed a typo on the mindshroom button.
• Mindshroom will no longer incorrectly heal enemies immediately after being summoned.

Books

• Did some retconning and fleshing out of unfinished books. Feel free to report spelling and grammatical errors you come across.
• Updated the book reading code to use websockets. Once the first book is loaded each session, additional books will load much faster.
• Added page sounds to books.
• Added a library in your inventory. Most books will be added to the library once read in world, and can be accessed at any time from the new tab of your HUD inventory.

New feature: Enchanting

• Monsters will now randomly drop enchanting materials. Currently set to 10% chance per monster. Let me know if this is too rare/common.
• You can spend these materials on research in the new enchanting shop in Fort Erect.
• Every 5 levels you unlock an enchant slot on your thong to put your enchants into.
• Thongs can be leveled up to 20, for a total of 4 enchants.

Worn thongs

• The Avatar 2.0 male thong has been updated. If you've already bought it, you can redeliver it from your JasX inventory

Quality of life improvements:

• The difficulty and cleanup commands will now run serverside.  Error messages in non-firestorm viewers will persist until this HUD has been publicly released for a while.
• The PC/Coop portraits have been replaced with an icon of their class
• The party invite system has been overhauled. You can now create parties of up to 4 players. Existing quests will remain 1-2 players and give you an error message if you try to start it with too many players.
• The target coop button (R) and target self (Q) have been replaced with Shift+1 and Shift+2. Later on, Shift+3&4 will be added for group content.
• Quests with more than 1 cell will now add a 25% chance for each cell past 1 to reward a bonus essence
• Long term buff visuals which will remain for the duration of a spell have been added to certain important spells that will be harder to track once the coop spell icons go away. The following spells have received a long term buff visual: Water Bolt, Earth Shield, Rejuvenate, Infest.

New feature: Sprinting

• You can now run for a few seconds before you have to recharge your sprint.
• FX and passives have been added that affect your sprinting.
• A new common enchant which increases sprint duration has been added.

Monster changes

• Demon Dick: Abilities replaced.
