Status Update Aug 8

The new challenge dungeon is well underway. It involves a major amount of scripting, which is why it's taking so long. Primarily because of the whole mind control and moving boss fight I'm going for.

The first cell is done and has a short event where one player gets corrupted and can molest their teammates, while the teammates need to defeat the corrupted player to move the quest along. 

The boss fight will also involve a corruption/PVP event, but I've not started working on that yet, so I'm not going to give out too many details until I've actually scripted it.

In order to facilitate these events, I've had to implement the following:

I'm also working on some memory fixes that will hopefully prevent stack overflows. A lot of scripts are getting saturated. Which means that even if I can add more content to the game, I'm now unable to add new features such as: Channeled spells, ability to backstab PCs and new effect types. That and the fact that LL shoots down any requests for higher script memory means that I can't really progress further feature-wise without adding even more scripts. And GoT already has a crapton of scripts going. SL scripting last received an update nearly a decade ago, and it's really starting to show.

In any case, I'm hoping the new quest will be available for patreon pre-testing some time next week!
