I think it's about time to release a 1.0 version. This is the same as the 0.15.3 RC3 release.

What does 1.0 mean?

It means I'm not intending on adding more official content to the game. That being said, JasX admins have access to the server code and EVERYONE has access to the client code on the GoThongs GitHub Page!

This means that if you have a request or bug report, you can post it on the GitHub project page and any admin can go ahead and implement it if they feel like it. I'm still intending on supplying code for bug fixes when time allows, but Toonie will handle new version releases from now on.

Now that the game is fairly stable, I strongly suggest checking out the modding tutorials available for free at the GoThongs developer wiki! Add new classes, guns, a sci-fi spinoff... Whatever you feel like, I'm not censoring anything unless you're breaking any laws.

What's next for JasX?

Currently I'm working with Kadah to make a retail version of VibHub, a USB hub that will let you drive up to 4 USB sex toys over the internet via an open source API. This means you can not only use it for JasX games, but also your own games. Or why not a browser app, phone game, or alarm clock (more like alarm cock amirite?). A lot of people seemed to be interested in that and we're currently experimenting with hardware to make it as cheap as possible. I can't promise anything will come of it because I don't have a lot of expertise with it, but Kadah seems fairly knowledgeable so hopefully it'll turn into something fun everyone can enjoy.

Tomorrow I'm intending on starting the JasX survey review post series. So if you haven't already taken the survey, this is your last chance.

While I'm not working on VibHub, I'll be working on a proper version of Sexticuffs (the one I released last summer was just a draft remember?). Currently I'm working on an editor for islands, dungeons, and arenas.
