JasX Survey Results - Part 1

First off, here's the survey results. I'm gonna go through and respond to the things I found interesting.

Which JasX Games have you played?

I'm glad to see GoThongs has surpassed jFish! Other than that, the results of this question was as I expected.

I'm surprised TiS got a higher rating than GoThongs since GoThongs surpasses TiS in every way except quantity of content. I'll have to do the same survey again next year and see if the results change once GoThongs is more completed.

Let's go through some general suggestions for JasX!

• Wider range of animations for victory period in bare/woohoo, more animations for rapes in Fright.
  Maybe for BARE. I'm focusing on GoThongs now.

• Do you ever think of making SL sex games for a living?
  Would if I could. But SL doesn't exactly pay well. We'll see how the Patreon goes.

• i feel you should make female bra and undies that can't be stretched to fit avatars like kemono or other mesh bodys and appliers for omega
  I've said I would make a male and female thong for kemono on the condition someone gets me a proper DAE template file. I'm not going to jump through hoops just to get something that should be supplied by av creators by default.

• Please consider on making a dev kit for fright or adding some new content! Jfish is wonderful don't abandoned that project its really fun keep it updated please!
  A.  There is a dev kit for fright if you ask. It was never fully completed but some people have managed to make maps with it.
  B. Nobody plays jFish and it doesn't really earn me any money. I do want to remake jFish as a mobile game but this is just an idea I've been toying with, nothing I have time to create in the foreseeable future.

• make things a little bit more risky, connect with breeding huds and maybe adding the choice of collar the loser for a short time
  This can be done by plugins right now (assuming you're talking about BARE)

• make a shemale and herm sex for us who are not male or female
  Assuming you're talking about TiS, it's not going to happen as it's a finished project. The rest of the games have genital select options so you can mix/match freely.

• It would be nice to see some updates on some of the older games instead of seeing new games keep popping up. Maybe taking the time to update the older ones before making another new one would be really cool.
  Not going to happen either other than larger bug fixes due to the nature of SL making things very difficult to update and the fact that it wouldn't be profitable.

• Team based PvP style TiS
  Would be fun but I have other games planned right now :3

• more adventures! less player vs player rape.
  You're gonna love GoThongs then!

• allow ao's while fighting in bare
  Tell the AO creators to stop fucking up animation priority, AO should never be more than 3.

• maybe add some indicators-huds in the end in Bare game that would show if you like the punishment or not and let others know about it
  This already exists, see bare.jasx.org and the punishment list

• Tie in the xcite touch system so real life vibrators would be triggered with certain events.
  HOMG yes I wanna do this if I ever manage to get a hold of an open source vibrator!

• More Sharks
  Sun Streak is available for all your shark needs 24/7. If he's sleeping it means he consents by default.

• TiS 2
  This one showed up a lot. Probably not going to happen. Maybe BARE in SPACE as a browser game. But it's just an idea I'm toying with.

• More slime sexing!
  Definitely will be added to GoThongs at some point! A tentacle game without goo monsters is not a proper tentacle game.

• Stay kinky as much as posible!
  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

• Animation sets for various sizes of avatars. Many short avatars sink heavily into the ground when short and tall avatars fly above it when they're meant to lay down.
  Whereas it's something I want to do, it's just too much work. BARE alone has like 300+ animations!

• Work on Offline play or versions of the games that are independent of SL
  I've started learning HTML5 canvas tools this year. I will likely make something like this once GoThongs is up and running properly.

• I feel like either GoThongs is in private beta or we're just not being told about it, call me crazy but I hear about people playing it but never what it is or if I can play it too.
  Join the JasX group in SL, GoThongs is distributed through notices. Or if you want to help playtest ahead of time (as soon as I get MQ03 ready for testing), donate 3$ or more on this Patreon!

• Your next game, GoThongs, needs mob variety in the gender department. I could say more appleaing even sexually, but overall a overhaull in other genders as far as mobs go. I mean really? Is it me or does someone have a small migiet smily ball skin golbin with a huge penis festish. I almost threw up in my mouth....just ughh...
  This is one that pops up a lot. Basically the way SL NPC animations work is really shitty. Each frame is a single mesh and then a script toggles alpha on/off on these frames. This coupled with the bug that makes invisible frames consume exponentially more GPU power than visible frames means you are limited to only a handful of polygons. This means asethetically pleasing monsters are harder to do as they require more polygons. If I made a female monster it would have triangle tits like the original tomb raider game :/ I hope SL adds rigged NPCs one day so I can do proper monsters with lots of good animations!

• new battle forms for bare
  I've been toying with the idea on making an event for it, something like cops vs criminals. And also rescripting the HUD from scratch. I need to get GoThongs up and stable before I can look into that tho.

• BECOME A SPACE WIZARD!
  It's the only way.

• Even lower learning curve to setting up clothing levels. Link to pics or so that are shown immediately and removing all trace of the old folders having been used in the past.
  RLV is not so good. But you should use the JasX HUD, it comes with a manual with pictures! And once you set up RLV folders in the JasX HUD it will work for ALL JasX games, and even some RLV collars through plugins! You can get the HUD in the JasX store or on the website.

• lack of worthwhile fuckable monsters for tops stinks
  Same problem why I can't make female monsters. Not enough polygons to animate :(

• Make more contents more often, keeping them updated.
  I'm giving it all she's got, captain!

• I wish a more story driven sex game similar to TiS was being developed, and possibly with the ability to have a persistent world that can be setup in any sim.
  An RP system is something I've always wanted to do. But sims are expensive and it's nearly impossible to even break even doing that. As for a more story driven sex game, you're gonna enjoy GoThongs :3 Just join the JasX group if you want to play early access.

• Rocker combat style for BARE.
  Music style is something I've wanted to add but never gotten around to. Maybe one day.

• More support for all games, fan content a la Steam Workshop
  This is the reason I made GoThongs open source and GPL. You can mod freely, fork the project and generally make whatever you like! And I'm working on a way to add and install mods that can overhaul the way you play.

• More games based off music, fighting, or PVP.
  Once valhalla is in firestorm, I'm gonna attempt a rhytm mini game.

• GoThongs to support more then 2 player teams.
  Not gonna happen. In short, it's for lag reasons. I'll write up a full explanation on why I decided to limit it to 2 players later.

• if possible to put am impregnation thing into TIS and Go thong would be nice. So where you get caught and fucked you get impregnated
  Last I checked there was already a HUD like that for TiS. GoThongs will be able to do that through plugins once the GoThongs plugin system is live.

• GoThongs is hard to learn and understand. I think it needs to be easier to access
  I'm working on it, but please post suggestions!

• Less thongs (fight me bro)

• Id like a bondage themed one, or more ways to incorperate bondage themes into existing games. :p
  Force-attachments are fiddly. But I'm sure someone making a mod could come up with some proper hard core bondage. That being said, there will be quite a few places in GoThongs where you get tied up :3

• Focus more on high replayability that *isn't* undermined by Second Life's performance/limitations.
  Kadah is working on a procedural dungeon generator. I'm looking forward to see how that turns out!

• I would love to see more human NPC's to go along with all the furry ones.
  Provided you're OK with Tomb Raider-esque triangle tits, I've been considering adding some elves or humans to GoThongs.

• From a personaly standpoint, I'd like to see more stuff that has story or maybe even a plot to it.
  You might like GoThongs then :3
