Other than that, the class overhaul is now complete and each class now has 5 abilities and will regenerate passively. Feedback on class balance is very welcome as values are fairly easy to tweak.
In a day or two I'm going to release a new general public HUD as well without the new level, but with some of the old quests overhauled. For an instance I'm intending on doing the following changes:
After that is done, I intend on overhauling the HUD to use some of the new HTML5 features CEF brings. Such as websockets, soundtracks and canvas! Thongsmithing will be added along with this update.
Finally I've had an interesting discussion with some friends today about how to handle gold in Game of Thongs:
Should the gold system be open sourced?
This would mean that any modder or player could call HUD command to modify a player's gold freely. Adding or subtracting as they wish. The upside to this would be that monsters could drop gold, modders and I could make in world shops, and other things. The downside being that gold wouldn't be used for things like crafting. I don't see a big issue with it, as there's already the timegated resource Essence which would be used in creating thongs and enchants for trade.
