The image attached to this post is the new art for the otter player-character. It comes with all 4 clothing states (Dressed, upperbody, lowerbody, naked).
So, what's ready for the next update?
- The host in online games can now set a 75 sec turn timeout for players.
- Improved the "your turn" visual with a green border around the screen which is also visible while looking at the map.
- Removed tags from character sheet and added the ability to see what a player is wearing instead.
- Only the DM can now see enemy abilities.
- Made updates to the NPC chats to highlight the chosen option and slow it down a bit so other player can see what option was picked.
- Fix for dungeon asset persistence (some assets would derp out if you left the dungeon)
- Fix for boss encounter not starting again if you lost the battle or ran away.
- Fix for hotkeys triggering multiple times when loading a different game.
- Fix for development-challenged browsers like firefox and edge.
- Added loading screens
- Added ability to trade parts of stacks
- Added time
- Rewrote tooltips so they'll no longer go off screen
- Multiple changes to the chat/combat log UI to make it more visible when a player speaks.
- Player chats will now show in toasts on the map screen.
What's left to do before the next release?
So far, the changes I've listed have been fairly small. Leaving most of the big chungi changes for last. These are:
- A shop in which to buy and sell.
- Main quest chapter 2 (Likely the quest will just be to get to the city, but in order to go there, you'll have to explore a sizeable forest).
- A credits page.
Question for this time is: Should there be fast travel, or should travel always be manual? Make your voice heard in the comments!
