FetishQuest June Changelog
Added 2019-06-17 16:46:02 +0000 UTCNew update. The previous beta branch has been moved to the live branch. I suggest clearing your cache and starting a new game. This update includes the first hand made quest.
The update after this one will only be to the beta branch, since I'm not done with what I intended on adding to the next live update yet. I'm planning 1 more quest, a secret boss, and Here's what's new on the beta branch:
- Added an outdoor forest area (enabled after completing the first quest).
- Added an imp dungeon with a mini boss.
- New monster: Groper.
- Added a new mini quest.
- Added shops. (Still needs work, modded shops will not work atm)
- Tooltip system improved and should no longer go off screen
- Multiple updates to the chat appearance
- Resistance has been renamed to avoidance.
- Character art now supports 4 states: Dressed, Upperbody, Lowerbody, Naked. The new otter PC has all these states.
- Sped up UI renders.
- Multiple fixes to the NPC dialog system.
- You can now trade parts of a stack.
- Added time tracking. No day/night system yet though.
- Added a loading bar (still needs background images or something).
- Added a fix for firefox missing new w3c features
- Added a more visible your turn badge
- Multiple fixes to persistence.
- Chat messages will now show up in the corner while on the map screen
- Online game DMs can now set a 75 sec turn limit for players.
- Added a credits page (poke me if I forgot to credit you)
- Added a proper monetary system. There are now 4 types of currency: Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum. Each worth 10x more than the previous. Remember to exchange your coins at a store, because coins have weight.
- You now regenerate less HP at the end of a battle.
- Added food which can be used out of combat to restore HP and/or mana.
- Arousal overhauled. At max arousal you get stunned for 2 turns, during which you take vastly more corruption damage.
- Added floating combat text
- You can now destroy parts of a stack.
- Minor improvements to water rendering.
- Added levelup visual
- Added AA and shadows (experimental) toggles to settings.
- You can now mute spectators in a netgame
- Proficiency advantage now increases damage done by 10% per point, up from 5%.
- You can now trade in combat for 3 AP.
- Probably more stuff I forgot to write down.
Here's what's next for the beta branch (keep in mind these may change):
- 1 more quest to add to the forest.
- A west bank of the forest lake
- Improve the error reporting system in netgames.
- Blacksmiths for armor repairs.
- Make modded shops work in coop
- Try to implement daytime in outdoor areas
- Minor tweaks and fixes.
That's all for this time. Enjoy!
