First off, I've been working on the FQ procedural dungeon system a bit more. It can now generate fully functional dungeons, and I've tied it to the world. What I have so far is:
You can tie a procedural dungeon to a world asset (such as a door or direction arrow). Clicking it will generate the dungeon on the fly and store it in your game save for 1 in game week. The goal of these is to explore every area of it. Upon exploring the full area you get rewarded with some Cartographs (which is a word I may have just invented).
After the week has gone by, visiting the area again will generate a new dungeon and you'll be able to explore it for further rewards.
What I'm still working on:
I've also completely rewritten the dungeon caching, working on asset level instead of dungeon level. This means that dungeons which use assets that you've seen recently in the session will load nearly instantly, greatly improving load times when visiting new areas.
Once the checklist above is done, I'll be releasing it to the public.
A while ago I setup a peertube instance so people could have somewhere to share SL videos, art, machinima, walkthroughs etc somewhere without having to worry about adult content blocks. I updated it today to support streaming. In total I'm allowing 20 concurrent streams for now. And I'll keep the site open to registrations until the hardware starts screaming at me. I suggest not streaming at higher than 720p though for reliability.
I'll likely stream some development (especially how to use the devtools). Join the JasX group or the JasX discord if you wanna be notified of streams!
