BEHIND THE CREATION OF MARILYN

The tired manager of the band, tired of everyone's shit, she just wants to rest!

How was Marilyn created? In 2021, one of my friends gave me the word of this discord server where people buy bandicoot adoptables no matter the quality, so the same friend was making a good amount of money designing bandicoots to sell to said group, so I decided that I wanted some of that too!

I shared this to the discord server with the bandicoot buyers, and just like it happened with Ovidia, I was lucky that nobody was interested in buying her despite people liking her (or so they say).

After a whole day with no interest, I just desided to touched yo her design a bit into the one you all know today!

Why did I make her curvy with big boobs? Those mother fuckers were just horny af, so I thought "Boobs = Sold".

Before the band lore, she was a college teacher, tired, stressed by the fact that her husband abandoned her and their only child (we'll get to that in a minute).

The name Marilyn Mongrel simply came from me not knowing what name I should have give her, but the same friend I mentioned earlier, she just suggested that one, there's really no big meaning to it.

There's really not much behind her other than she's a college teacher before the band lore. Meilo approached her and asked her to be the manager for the band he was forming, why? Cause she's someone who takes her job serious and responsable, a bit strict but that is necessary.

When we talk about design, just like Meilo, hers didn't change a single bit, it simply got retouched so it looks better.

Now some lore:

"Japanese mother and Canadian father, she lived her childhood in Osaka, her place of birth, moved to Panda city when she turned 25 where she got a job as a teacher.

She got married and had a kid, later on her husband abandoned her and her kid.

Former college teacher, fed up with all the bullshit she has to deal with, rising a kid as a single mother, dealing with students used to be very stressful for her, so when Meilo and everyone else approached her with the idea of her becoming their manager, she didn't think it twice about quitting her job and taking the risk of managing an unknown band. Lucky for her, the band project ended up being a success, even tho is still a stressful job to manage a band, at least she's making more money out of it and her kid helps her along while he's learning to manage. She loves spending time with him whenever she's got the chance."

The only reason why I made her Japanese, it's cause she's a Shiba Inu.

Here's a fun fact about that bracelet of hers. It originally belonged to Ovidia when she was alive, however when she was murdered, the killers took some of her belongins and pawned them, years later, her son Leo, saw it at the pawn shop and bought it for Marilyn for Mother's day.

Her relationship with the others is good, she's the serious one in the group since she's the manager and always thinking about work.

Sometimes she has to show her face and atributes to gain more fans, but hey, more fans means more money!

This concert sold out.

No matter the situation, Marilyn will never break that attitude, she thinks showing other emotions will break that "bossy" feeling people have towards her.

I believe it will be hard to find a better Manager than her.

WHO THE FUCK IS LEO?!

Leo is Marilyn's son who I was at one poing planning on adding, he is designed too and has lore, let me show you a little bit of him:

Originally Leo would stick around with the band during their tours, helping everyone out as a backstage staff member along with Kayde. He was meant to be Kayde's fiend since they would be spinding time together. Had the idea of him having a crush on Meili the same way Kayde has a crush on Meilo, so I had this idea of them "fangirling" over the two of them. Now, Leo kinda exist but the excuse for him not to be around is cause he's at university while Marilyn is touring and working with the band.

This is the only picture I have of him.

Leo is in this one but he's off screen, he was meant to be on screen dressed as Charmy the bee but I dropped that when I was gonna start with the shading.

Perhaps we'll se him someday, I just don't think he fits in my plans at the moment.
