It's been a great week for This Guy Edits. YouTube wisdom says, all it takes is ONE video for a channel to reach the next level. This might be happening for TGE right now.
The recent Wiseau video has been by far the fastest growing video and the Youtube Algorithm has been promoting it for days (going as high as 4000 views per hour). Subscriber rates currently have a 10x growth rate.
But while this video parody was fun to do, it's most likely not going to be a regular thing. My primary goal remains to create entertaining content about next level editing and storytelling. As a matter of fact, I'm going to experiment with bringing more exclusive video content onto the Patreon platform to give you added benefits as a supporter.
The next video I'm working on is specifically designed with that idea in mind. A more mainstream version for the general audience and a more in-depth follow-up tutorial to be available only for $5+ patrons.
