"Flesh & Blood" was acquired by Amazon for Streaming. Theatrical By Monument
Added 2017-05-11 04:47:18 +0000 UTCVariety reported today that Amazon acquired the rights for a whole slew of SXSW festival films. Flesh and Blood is part of that deal.
The best part is that prior to this arrangement our film already had secured a theatrical release that includes screenings in Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles and various other markets. This is scheduled to happen in November with the streaming on Amazon Prime to follow in January.
It's still a little early in the game, but director Mark and I have been discussing ways to help the release of the film with a special video series on my channel. This could include localized grassroots campaigns involving interested subscribers and especially patrons (with priority access to premiere screenings and after parties).
We're still figuring this out with the distributor, but hopefully soon I can let you in on the plans.
