2020-08-10 18:33:15 +0000 UTCRocco is 100% right about the appeal of these movies beyond just the action and cars. The misfit family that’s on the other side of the law, but still has good values like loyalty and forgiveness. It’s not my cup of tea, but I understand why it’s endearing to a certain audience that probably doesn’t get movies made for them a lot. I think Suicide Squad tried to tap into this, but didn't nail it, obviously.
