We are collecting the Chatfield family like Infinity Stones. This album was fantastic, new Apple head right here.

Dope to have Krista make a return after so long! This was a great episode, as I love Fiona Apple and hearing you two talk about your bond and history with her music was really cool. I got into Fiona Apple really late, but I think she's incredible and every album she has made is awesome! Though this is probably my third favorite behind When the Pawn and The Idler Wheel. I've known about the other version for a while but getting the back story and hearing parts of it played really makes me want to go check it out. Great album though! Also I love In Da Club, always have. That Dre beat especially is so damn good. I'm really excited for next week! Low End Theory is awesome and I'm interested to hear what you think

This was actually my first time listening to Fiona Apple and it was pretty cool. Much different than I expected, I got a lot of Panic At The Disco vibes. Neat experience, 3/5 for me. Super stoked for Tribe next week. I think this is a hip hop album that will really connect with you Shawn

I think that instrument may have been a marimba? It sounded more wooden than metallic to me but I wouldn’t be surprised if both marimba and xylophone (and other percussion?) were used. Great album, no skips! I was hooked within the first 15 seconds, like Krista was. I’m definitely going to be listening to all of Fiona Apple’s stuff after I work through a couple other artists. It’s funny to me, again, I also considered working through A Tribe Called Quest (I love Q-tip’s verse in Groove is in the Heart and the sound of his voice - I’m p sure he’s one of THE guys in ATCQ) so this next week will be another taste test. I love the cast of characters Record Club has amassed. Pretty cool to see Krista and hope she can be back on soon!

A decade ago I would've given the official version a 💿💿💿💿.𝟐𝟓/𝟓 & the leaked version a 💿💿💿💿.𝟓/𝟓 but actively comparing the songs side-by-side this week made me appreciate what was released a lot more for whatever reason. My overall love for this album has dipped a bit, this was my favourite Fiona Apple record for a long time and now it's maybe 3rd or 4th? (Official) 💿💿💿.𝟕𝟓/𝟓 (Leak) 💿💿💿.𝟓/𝟓
