Dude that video fucked me up for weeks when I first saw it, as in, I didn't just watch the last part I watched every single tape he made in some lost media binge. That wasn't my first go around with gore shit either, but the tapes were very personal and I think that fucked me up more.

I hate being behind on record club! This album had so much more variety than expected. First album exposure to Bjork. Almost a little too scattered for my taste, but cool album!

I love her first four albums, some of my favorite ever, and then the next in line is apparently made solely with mouth sounds or some shit so I've always shied away from giving it a chance. I'll get to it eventually. This album is a great example of what I love about her: great vocals of course, enigmatic lyrics, tracks you can just chill to, total disregard for formula and yet several omega-level bangers, stuff that makes you laugh and weird sayings that you'll find yourself quoting forever, and so on. And on that note about her hoping to make Army of Me a club song, hearing that blaring at 100 decibels in a random Los Angeles club once was exactly what inspired me to start listening to her more.

Great episode, Johnny the goat. Idk why but I can never get into Bjorks music. I really like her as a persona but I just can never get into her tunes. I’ve always liked parts of this album but it doesn’t ever completely grab me. My favorite Bjork thing is when she was on Space Ghost. I give this record a 3/5

I love Björk and was really happy to see you pull this album, even though I prefer other albums like Vespertine and Homogenic. But this album is still fantastic and very influential. Army of Me and Hyperballad will always be two of my fav songs by her. It's funny you mentioned CKY. I got into CKY because of Mega64 and found Björk through CKY2 with Hyperballad. So you guys kind of got me into Björk lol You should definitely check out Vespertine if you get a chance. It's not in top 500 but a lot of people say it's her best album. It's very emotional and beautiful. Glad we got Johnny on as a fellow Björk fan! Keep up the great work you guys!

Bjork is truly life changing on the first listen. My first full Bjork album was Debut on an old cassette tape I found on my uncle's collection and it was an amazing experience. Loved her ever since. Shoutsout to Johnny, Stonemilker is a banger, one of my favs too! Great episode!

Definitely an album cover I want to step inside!!!

I’ll give it a shot when we get to it but I reeeally don’t want to sanction anything that man has done post-Degrassi rn lol

Take Care is Drake's ONE good project, though I haven't listened to it since 2012 so it's probably cringe now like everything else he's done since.

This album feels like it could have come out today. It's awesome. The variety is insane, it's hard to pick a favourite song. Army Of Me is a great kick off though. I'd give this a 4-4.5/5. Gonna have to listen to more Bjork.

Shouts out to that 🤡 Ricardo López for being a lot of mf's gateway into gore videos! RIP Bozo. 🚬 Fucking idiot didn't even get to hear Homogenic... Anyways this album is an easy 𝟒/𝟓 and the aesthetic of the album cover might be the actual all-time greatest. I can get lost in it.

Johnny’s back in town (here he comes now) (Bruce Springsteen reference) This was my first exposure to Bjork and one of my first thoughts was she seems super influential to Hikaru Utada. I can’t say I know much about Utada, either but that’s the vibe I got. Isobel was my favorite song, hands down. The swells and builds kept drawing me back in. And then the horns in I Miss You were another stand-out. Army of Me always reminds me of that one Smiths song, How Soon is Now, I think? I feel like they go together. ETA: oh hell yeah, I’ve been thinking about listening to REM so next week’ll be lit. Thank you Johnny for not drawing Drake!!!
