I haven't posted updates here in a while since almost everything is handled on Discord, but I figured I'd do a little update and maybe make it a monthly thing.
At the end of last year, I worked on the release of Hearthwood, a winter-themed world set in a large log cabin featuring a VIP section. This was a quick project I wanted to push out since a Christmas-themed world had been on my radar for a while after Camille showed me some great references.
After Christmas, I focused on adding translations to my worlds after learning about a new prefab by Vowgan that automatically sets the world to the language VRChat is set to (provided I've added that language). I added translations for nine languages, with a tenth hopefully coming next month. During this time, I also upgraded the menu and mirrors to make them feel clearer.
Once I finished localization, I worked on revamping the VIP system with a new setup built by UdonVR, allowing you to invite guests within VRChat instead of through Discord. I implemented that into Hearthwood's VIP and then moved on to Cozy Calm. Cozy Calm hadn't been updated in a while, so I took the time to polish any issues, add new translations, and introduce the VIP system.
I got a bit sidetracked after that when I saw people asking for a Cozy Cottage update. What started as basic upgrades turned into a full remesh, lighting overhaul, UI update, and the addition of a new VIP room. It was really fun to revisit and see how much I've improved compared to 3β4 years ago. I might do the same for other worlds in the future, but we'll see.
Next month, I'm planning to work on a world based around a bunk bed I started back in November but never had the chance to finish. This will also include a VIP room. I can't say exactly when the world will be released, but I'm aiming for sometime in April. I'll be posting WIP pictures in the WIP channel on Discord throughout the month, so if you're interested, check there!
Thanks so much for your support and for reading this far. I really hope I can keep creating things you all enjoy!
