Big changes coming to the channel | I want your feedback first!

Make it happen Daniel, unboxings on the second channel. Makes perfect sense to make this change and I can honestly say I'll still watch them since I'm subscribed to both channels already.

Appreciate your messages as always. So, happy that you like the MDK video. I spent a long time on that one :D I think that when you compare me to Kim, that's amazing. I love Kims work... some of my favorites on YouTube. We have different styles in the way we present our content and that, of course, makes us unique.It's always an honor for me to be put into the same category as Kim :D The 8-bit guy on the other hand... I honestly don't see much of a comparison. love his content, but he is a more hands-on tech guy. + he gets multiple videos to hit the million mark which I can guarantee works because he experimented in his earlier videos and stuck with the content that works. I still want to experiment in the future. I never want to be that guy that just does what works... (heck MDK isn't gonna pull in huge numbers) and that was how the KickScammer series started. Expect to see plenty of new ideas, and expect to see me continue to make videos based on game franchises that are guaranteed to NOT bring in the big views (AKA Dizzy lol) If I wanted to turn this channel into a money machine I would make a Kickscammer episode 1 week and a complete history the next based on just 1 game that was popular that week (Cooking Mama, Animal Crossing, or whatever) But I know I wouldn't be happy doing them. I am still that guy that's doing this because I am obsessed with finding the type of content that I make. Hopefully, this new way of doing things will get more stuff out like MDK and keep the channel growing at the same time. + I really do hope i can get more personal content out for those that wanna see it in its unedited fashion with a dedicated set up. Gonna test it out and if all goes to plan this will hopefully be the best of both worlds :D

Appreciate the feedback. As stated I still want to do the unboxings... possibly even more. Another problem is that I like the main channel to be the highest quality content I can possible push out. Some of the unboxings actually take a really long time due to all of the flashy imagry and quick cuts that I do to make them look that way. And personally I would rather spend that time on creating the bigger videos. So the plan is to continue with the unboxings but to create them in a more "unedited" style which should hopefully fit to your "personal touch" type videos that you like and I like to make :D

Whenever anyone asks my opinion on anything having to do with how to run their channel I always look at how Kim Justice, and David Murray (the 8-bit Guy) are doing it. Kim for her don't give a toss artistry, and David because he has such integrity and leaves EVERYTHING on the screen for all of us to see. If you look at either of them, they both have scads of videos with practically no views. Some of Kim's older stuff had viewers in the double digits last I checked. And yet, ask any YouTuber in the gaming or retro computing space who their favorites are, and those two will always come up. I think Kim's voice is on more of other people's stuff now than her own. You know you gotta eat, and provide a consistent and reasonable income for your family, and I think we all know that. You can be forgiven for not acting with absolute artistic merit all the time. But the MDK video was damn near a masterpiece. So I totally understand how YouTube messing with it could cause you a ton of anxiety and make you want to change up everything just to keep your sanity. Just remember you are an artist and not a corporation. Those record unboxing videos make me feel better about you as an artist, just like Kim's Japanese Wrestling videos, and I could care less about either. Seeing that kind of hopelessly ratings doomed videos popup shows us how you have guts and a voice that transcends commericialism.

Second channel. Unbound will bring total views down and hurts the main channel. Unless your channel is dedicated to unboxing then make it that. Leave your other videos to the main.

Hey Dan, I think it's a great idea. I don't mind the unboxing or you reviewing stuff, but I can also see how that makes the channel seem less focussed. With YouTube it's best to streamline the diversity.
