Right. Then sorry to say this but he doesn't get much say if he is literally getting your videos for free... I dunno, I feel like that felt entitled. Here you are thanking people who actually help you make videomaking a full time job and he's complaining that you take a bit of extra time to thank them. Quite frankly I didn't notice it that much apart from shout-outs which are always at the end so they don't really impact the video in any way. Keep doing what you do, man, we appreciate it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I seeeeeeeeeeeeeee, No, he is not. He seems to be annoyed that I am giving you guys longer or "better" versions of public videos and that I shouldn't pay for that. Sadly, he didn't check his facts because the only time I have ever done that was due to the sex toy kickscammer scandel. The patreon version was uncensored and the public one (for obvious reasons) was not! I did email back to try and explain this, but nothing worked

I like the exclusivity period of some content, and think the duration is good. The attitude of the disgruntled viewer is ridiculous, if he was that interested in that video he could contribute to your patreon for a month to see it, and his contribution would pay for its production as you can't really monetise the uncensored version it through common video streaming platforms with the current market.

Yeah, unfortunately people like LTT have the luxury of brief mentions due to their size. Garunteed the big sponsors wouldn't allow that for channels my size lol Still, I'm a lot more selective now and I agree. RIDGE are great

As a patron I think ideally we should get almost nothing exclusive much less 6 months. We aren't buying content we are supporting an artist. I think ad free version for us and advertised for regular users would be fair though. As for internal sponsors I prefer they be pre-recorded and short. Linux Tech Tips has good advertising. I don't want a YouTuber stopping the script to talk about manscaping for example. Just say no to them. Drop a ridge wallet jingle in instead.

Ffs Patreon! First it wouldn’t load comments, then I write a lengthy one, only for it to delete it! Right, what was I saying... I watch this channel because I love the content on it. If a video is sponsored, I don’t mind as a man gotta make a living. When I see a push for Patreon etc then that’s in effect an advert...but for more of the stuff I love, so it’s win win for me...even now I am a Patron. Oh and I also made a crap joke about Squarespace, but it wasn’t worth a repost 😁

I wouldn't say you're going too hard. After all, this is your current main income source. If people can't understand that, then, I wouldn't worry too much about that. You're trying to support doing the thing you love, nothing wrong with that at all.
