Bit of a somber topic, and I'm not really sure how to write this out; but it is with a heavy heart that I report my PC's GPU died tonight. I was in the middle of testing lighting for a scene and my entire computer fully seized up. Upon a forced restart, I immediately noticed all video drivers were missing, and my computer will not even recognize the hardware anymore. I have spent several hours diagnosing and updating drivers to no avail. This is not the first time I've had rendering problems, but this time I was unable to save the card.

The GPU (a Radeon 5700) was only a little older than five years in active use, however I think several years worth of running it frequently in regards to 3D finally took a toll on the circuitry. I am not completely dead and helpless in the water, as I have a secondary laptop I can potentially use in the meantime; however 3D-related posts will be notably sparse for a while, since, well; Patreon is currently my only source of income, and now I will not even be able to reliably provide content for you here.

I really, really don't like to ask for help, but at this point I'm honestly not sure what else to do. If anyone is willing and able to spare even a few dollars towards helping me fund a new card or rig, I would be immeasurably grateful, and will even add all contributors names to future animations (in addition to your roles respective to your tier), no matter how small of a donation.
