A Different Sort of Bonus Content
Added 2023-02-09 14:00:42 +0000 UTCI had an idea that I wanted to open up to my patrons as well as the wonderful testers and translators on my Discord server.
I want to make new painting objects that will be available to everyone and I think a fun way to do that is to let people submit pictures of their Sims. Then when the objects are released you'll have access to a bunch of swatches of your Sims and others.
I thought it would be a cool way for people to share their creations, as well as adding depth to your worlds with portraits of "ancestors" and "relatives" who never actually existed in your save.
I'm going to do wedding portraits first so if you're interested in participating, all you need to do is send me a wedding picture (or pictures) of your Sims. There are a few ways you can do that:
- Join the Discord server and post in the sims-chat channel with your picture(s) and your Patreon name (last initial is fine if you use your real name and don't want to share it publically)
- Find me in the Discord server and private message me with your picture(s) and your Patreon name
- Message me through Patreon with an Imgur link (or whatever other sites have taken the place of Photobucket that we used back in the day)
- Email me at ilexsims@gmail.com with your picture(s) and your Patreon name
Maxis, Maxis match, and alpha are all fine! People have different styles and this can reflect that! Just no NSFW pictures please, but I doubt most wedding portraits are NSFW anyway.
