News & Changes - December 2018

(Sorry for the late start to the month, I had house guests up til yesterday)

 - Changing the brainstorm/vote format a little. My art queue is still really backed up, and in trying to catch up with it faster, I'm changing how Art brainstorm and Art vote works (at least until things are more caught up). Brainstormers will be given a list of eligible art from my queue, and choose their top 4-5 pieces they'd like to see come to a vote. Those pieces will go to the Art Vote for voters to decide which 2 will be drawn that month. Doing this will not really change any dynamic or rewards, other than the level of authority of brainstormers (again, temporarily), but it will effectively take 2 superfluous pinups off my monthly workload and replace them with work that needs to be done which should help drain the queue faster.

- Life is okay at the moment, but we're uncertain of the future. We personally are doing mostly okay, despite financial stuff coming and going. We're a little worried for the future of the internet and free speech and artistic expression. Patreon, Tumbler, and even the European Union (article 13) have been making concerning changes that may drastically effect content creators and those who support them and their work. Please do what you can, voting, signing petitions, and making your voice heard online to make sure our freedoms online are not taken from us. As for us now, we're still catching up with commissions, projects and rewards. We thank you for your patience and continued pledges as we continue getting things back to normal.

- Not a very good month - We had less than $20 in declines this month, but we only barely made made rent, with a little to spare. Lina and I will take commissions as always to make up the rest.
