News and Updates - June 2018

 -- NEWS --

- Massive Cluster Crisis
While my wife is recovering from a lame leg that painfully inhibits her mobility, and saving up for her urgent dental filling, our water heater died and leaked onto some of our stuff in storage, and needed to be replaced. This was around the time we were starting on a new internal business model to help Lina's workflow. And then a couple days later we found out that the EU might be implementing a new ridiculous internet censorship law that would essentially kill the jobs of content creators around the world... and we found out that our landlord is selling our house and that we'll likely need to move out (which is a logistical and financial nightmare in itself)... And then my wife's work computer died a couple days later, and she may or may not have lost irreplaceable collab videos for her job. Needless to say, we are not doing well at the moment.

Please keep in mind that we may have to move out any time in the upcoming months. These events are going to put serious strain on Lina and I, and while I hope that won't cause too many problems here, I only ask that you remain patient during these difficult times. I will notify you of any further developments. Thank you.

- An good month - We only had had $10 in declined pledges this month.
We also had one of the best payouts we've ever had. Though it's bitter-sweet (due to the details above), we are very glad to have so many of you helping us and supporting my work.
- The Good news - Because of devoted patrons like you, we took in enough to pay our ($600) rent, and enough extra to cover food for at least a couple weeks. We will still need to take supplemental commissions, but things look hopeful so far.
