Suffering slightly less

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I wasn't able to post more art this month. I'm doing everything I can to focus on recovery, and Lina and the friends who have come over to help us while I'm sick believe I'm making good progress and are hopeful I'll have mobility and functionality between now and halloween.

It's difficult to look in the mirror every day and see parts of me getting better, while other parts flare worse or stay the same. And it's nice to have less pain, but when it's not enough to allow you to move normally yet, it's heartbreaking. This is the longest active recovery period I've ever gone through. But it's also the largest undertaking I've attempted. I've officially lost 95 pounds since the start of the year as well.

It's getting harder financially now too, as the government aid we were getting has dropped drastically. I may need to do some kind of fundraiser just to get bills, food, and meds in October.

Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts, as I struggle daily with managing the pain and trauma.
