News and Updates - May 2020

- My medical issues
Today is my last day on high-powered corticosteroids for the extreme dermatitis over the last 2 months, it has also quieted the spleen and liver pain I've been having since last year. From here, the symptoms may come back (potentially worsened, as has been the case using this drug years ago, and why I avoided using it until I was absolutely desperate for any relief). I'm still working with my doctors (and have talked with the hospital), and doing everything within my power to stay alive and get well, though there is just as much uncertainty as there is fear and pain. I'm holding out hope that it's the one thing that I can recover from on my own, and not the other two fatal things which I have less chance of surviving. - Last month's collab was delayed. We are 3/4 finished with it, just waiting on shading from my collaborator. My health issues are to blame here, it would have been done sooner if I had more low-pain days last month. I should have it this month, and hopefully this month's as well.

-  We made Rent on Patreon, but not much to spare from there, and last month we came up about $200 short and missed our utility bill deadline, so we're hoping to pay that when the US government relief money comes through. I'll likely post an Easter Sale soon, but we'll see what needs to be done. Currently at 112 pledgers,  $887, which means we lost $7 in pledges since last month.

- Stuent Loan Lawsuit: Should have my court date again this month, but I don't know if it's affected by the Covid thing.

- Lina's Business Updates Lina is trying to increase her earnings to take weight off me, as I cannot continue to take commissions the way I do to keep up with what we need.

- Animation update: Right now, we're attempting to get Lina's business income increased. Once that's improved, I won't have to take on so many additional commissions each month. Thus freeing up time to do more with animation and backed up projects. Until then, I'll be doing what I can to make sure I release the required content, even if that means subbing out different projects in the meantime.
