Apple Crap & Ex-Wife Moved Back In

Firstly, Lina (my ex-wife, and still best friend) has moved back in due to her most recent relationships turning on her. She has her stuff here, but in kind of a pile in the garage, and will be spending the next week or more re-settling. So my release schedule might be a bit loopy, as this was fairly sudden. She'll be staying for an indefinite number of months. God help us, life is cruel.

Apple demanding 30% from you/me

For those who don't know, Apple is "forcing" Patreon (and by that I mean they're letting apple dictate) to make their users adopt certain measures. The small difference is, they want those of us stragglers to adjust how billing is handled and when billing occurs. I haven't changed mine away from 1st of the month style because of how badly I require every penny of that $ for rent, and altering it at any time could absolutely put me in a "homeless" position pretty instantly if something goes badly. The reason? If Patreon's creators don't adopt to their ways, Apple might remove Patreon from the Apple store. And while that sounds like it's not good, and may effect some creators, what's worse is Apple's greed. Apple wants 30%... THIRTY. Are you serious? By default, if you subscribe to me via the Apple Store, the 30% fee will be added to your bill, just for the inconvenience of using Patreon on one of their shiny white devices. Alternatively, I myself could shoulder the 30%. But if you busted ass at your job, were surviving on food stamps, and had to beg to make rent money... If your boss came to you and said "Hey, we're gonna have to take away about 1/3 of your paycheck because a company we work with wants 30% of what you earn, not really for anything in return, just because we answer to them. Is that okay?" The whole place would probably go on strike, or sue somebody, or unionize. No such luck here.

So here's how this is gonna work: I'm not giving Apple dick squat, and neither should you.

Apple is not NSFW firendly and they only care about their shareholders/money

Apple had banned or heavily censored Discord and Telegram. They give zero shits for your freedom of speech, artistic expression, or consenting sexual autonomy. And they don't deserve 5%, let alone 10% of anything, least of all hard earned money that should be going to support starving artists.

So I encourage you: DO NOT buy from or subscribe to Patreon via the Apple store. And if you're well-off enough to afford that 30% up-charge, I implore you to instead subscribe via web-browser and put that 30% toward a pledge, here or elsewhere, or donate it to charity. Do not throw money at these people who have not earned it and care nothing for those who have.
