Separate Feeds Filter

Thanks for your patience while we’ve been trying to find the best way to provide separate feeds for the bundle tier. This has been quite the journey, as no place really has the perfect solution. However, a few people have recommended this helpful website siftrss.com. It allows users to add their RSS and create their own feeds. The only thing you’ll need is your RSS feed, which can be found in the My Membership tab on Patreon.
So if you’d like to have a feed of just Handbook episodes, on siftrss.com you’d select “I want to include items where the title contains HH” (see attached photo). Once you hit the orange “Feed me!” button, you should have your own feed of just those episodes.
Just a reminder that the shorthand for the show titles are HH, PRO, TFO, CCHC, HM, and F1.
And one last thing: because we have so many shows on the Patreon that aren’t “The Flagrant Ones,” we're updating the Acast feed title to The Flagrant Ones Presents. We have some more amazing art from Annie Wu for this too (attached). We’re not changing the URL or official name of the Patreon, but this update feels more accurate to what we’re doing.

2024-10-30 12:57:58 +0000 UTCAnyone having issues with Downcast not discovering new episodes unless you manually refresh the feed? I have HH, PRO, and TFO in 3 separate feeds using siftrss, and some time in the last few months, it stopped downloading new episodes in all 3. I can manually refresh each feed and Downcast will discover and download the new episodes, but otherwise it will never download them, even though I have all 3 set to auto-refresh and download any new eps. Downcast will mark that it has refreshed the feed during the periodic auto-refresh, but when I go into "view other available episodes", it doesn't show the new eps unless I manually refresh.

2024-10-02 09:51:40 +0000 UTCSame thing happened to me with pocket casts. I went back and forth with patreon, chef kev, and acast and got no resolution. I think the issue is acast is subscribing us to the free feed. I've just been listening in the Patreon app, which is awful. Were you able to get it to work?

2024-08-03 01:59:33 +0000 UTCTo filter multiple times, just reload the page and use the modified feed. Make a note of each link and what you filtered out in case you need to go back. Use the following terms: RSS #, HH #, PRO #, TFO #, CCHC #, FBZ #, SO #, F1 #, HM #, NHOT #.

I like having a site where all of the media is embedded and allows for vid feeds, messages, and whatever other stuff. The search engine/time period selection here is also pretty granular, so no real problem there.

2021-12-02 21:36:35 +0000 UTCFor others, the pipe (“|”) means “or”. I include a space after the characters so it includes the space in the match because that’s how they’re all formatted. So if you want more, just add another pipe and the key for the series and a space after! Hope this is helpful!

2021-12-02 18:23:18 +0000 UTCThis is going to be podcast app-dependent. I've heard that with Android if you use Podcast Addict, you can update the art and title for each show via custom settings. For iOS, the closest solution I've found is on Apple Podcasts creating a new station (top right corner). You can then title it the name of the show and add the new filtered feed. This doesn't fix the unique art issue but all the shows can be separated by name at least. I'm still testing this out. If anyone has an app that this works for them, feel free to add in this thread.

2021-12-02 17:16:36 +0000 UTCFor Hollywood Masterclass, I'd suggest using: where the title "matches regex" with the value "/HM /". (Don't forget the space after HM). This will filter out episodes with words like "richmond" that also contain an "hm" in it.
