I think it’s a testament to how starved people are for some creativity and originality in film for once in the last several years. Reboots, remakes, endless franchises. People needed something fresh and now that they have it, they’re flipping out about it. Disagree about the humor though. It’s silly as hell which is something that Reddit definitely is not. Reddit humor is like Deadpool IMO which fucking sucks.

So these bloggers use this to their advantage by trying to increase their traffic and building a personal connection.
