2023-08-27 22:23:20 +0000 UTCI played football so I wouldnt have to go home after school and SUCKED, but my tiny school's jv team only had like 14 guys on it, so they used me specifically to screen the hardest hitters with the goal of just slowing them down at least because, and im quoting coach here 'youre the only one we can afford to lose'. EventuallY I got so good at taking hits and stopping guys bigger than me I ended up the lightest varsity lineman in the state at about 170 (and NOT muscular) lol

2023-08-25 04:05:53 +0000 UTCJV benchwarmer who hated getting hit so football was a bad choice. We were up big one game so I got onto the field as a cornerback. Only through lack of speed and game awareness, I was still on the right side of the field when the action came back my way on a reverse. I was the only player on that side to stop the ball carrier and he promptly ran right over me on his way to the end zone for their only score. I stood up and looked at the bench. The coach was yelling at me to get down the field so I wouldnβt be offsides for the extra point.
