There is not a lot I would take from the MLB (Since Carl mentioned the old addage of "batting .333 is enough to get you into the HoF") but Baseball's penchant for very specific stats might help with this episode's question of "Who is the best 3 pt. Shooter currently?" I think the distinction between open vs. contested 3's would be the best Stat for this. Someone who is a "Pure Shooter," when uncontested at the NBA level IMO should have a 75-80% rate overall... that might help but I guess it would also start the conversation of "Do you want a strong shooter who can crush open 3's? Or do you want that player that can make the impossible triple when there is a well known defender in their face?
