2024-11-26 08:10:54 +0000 UTCI've been to 5 Intuit Dome games (including that sick GSW game), and have some thoughts. Fan turnout has been just fine, but it has also yet to sell out. There are less Lakers fans running around than at Crypto, and that GSW game was the first Clippers/GSW game at home that didn't feel like a Warriors home game. All the media was very down on the Clippers to start the season, and everyone knew Kawhi was out. Now that the team is winning, more people are starting to show up. Another problem with attendance (besides the location), is they overpriced their tickets at launch. It is very much worth getting Chuckmarked (you probably already have it, Hayes), because you can usually buy a Wall seat for $29-35, and it's easy enough to move down if you buy one up high. I have also seen resale tickets day-of on Vivid/Seat Geek/etc. considerably cheaper than directly through Ticketmaster. I would also recommend finding parking on ParkWhiz. There is regularly ~$12 parking a few blocks away, and you probably get in and out faster than the $60 official parking garages. It has taken me between 50-90 minutes to get there from Atwater Village. There's also the free shuttles they offer, but I haven't tried that yet. I also highly recommend setting up GameFace ID before going to the arena - you literally just walk right in without stopping, while the people using ID Pass (or whatever it's called) have to wait in a line that gets pretty long for crowded games. As for loudness - it's acoustically designed very well, and at its loudest it is way less ear-splitting than Crypto (where I would often wear ear plugs). Even when they do the "LETS MAKE SOME NOIIIIISE" thing, it's pretty mellow. The GSW game was a bit louder than normal because they handed out these plastic clapper things that kids were going ham on. tl;dr - Intuit Dome tickets are a must-cop for Lakers fans

But p much there's already an arena v much in the city proper but the sixers are trying to build a new arena in the center of downtown at the expense of destroying Chinatown and city infrastructure.
