2024-09-26 22:30:24 +0000 UTCIndianapolis resident and Pacers fan here, there is an excellent ESPN 30 for 30 Short that you basically can't find anywhere that goes into detail on Slick and Nancy's Telethon that was held to save the Pacers from money troubles and help buy their way into the NBA. Truly an incredible story of how the city all chipped in as a pretty last ditch effort to save the team, highly recommend it.
